The deal between you and Give Us a Project. Short version: your plans are yours, be decent, and we'll keep the lights on and tell you before things change.

This is a plain-language template. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch and may change. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain it.

Using Give Us a Project

By making an account or using Give Us a Project you agree to these terms. If you use it for a team or an organisation, you're agreeing for them too, so make sure you're allowed to.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Give us a real email address so we can reach you about your account.
  • You need to be at least 13, or older where the law says so.

Your content is yours

Everything you and your team put in stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people you share it with, and process it (including with Archie, the AI teammate) only to run the service for you.

Archie and AI

Archie drafts plans and suggestions. They can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them. Anything Archie suggests stays marked as a suggestion until a person says yes, and Archie never moves a date by itself.

Be decent

Please don't:

  • break the law, or help someone else break it;
  • upload anything you don't have the right to share;
  • try to get into accounts, workspaces or systems that aren't yours;
  • overload, scrape or disrupt the service, or get round its limits;
  • use it to send spam or harass anyone.

We may suspend accounts that do these things. Where we can, we'll warn you first.

Price

Give Us a Project is free for the whole team. We don't charge per person. If we add paid extras, they'll be optional, the price will be clear before you pay, and nothing you already use for free will be taken away without notice.

Keeping the lights on

We work hard to keep Give Us a Project available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never go down or never have a bug. The service is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Leaving

You can stop using Give Us a Project and delete your account at any time. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice, and we'll give you a way to take your content with you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days before they apply.
